Ballet and All That Jazz (BTJ) has provided exceptional dance training to the Hagerstown community for more than 30 years. Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels can grow, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of dance.

Our experienced instructors bring strong dance backgrounds and a passion for teaching to every class. Our Crestwood Drive location was designed specifically as a dance school, featuring spacious studios and dedicated changing areas to provide a comfortable and professional environment for our students.

Training is offered in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Modern, and Hip-Hop for students beginning at age 3.

In addition to their regular programs, the BTJ Junior, Senior, and Tap companies have been invited to perform at Hollyfest, The Nutcracker at the Maryland Theatre, The National Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C., and many other events. The BTJ companies challenge dancers to sharpen their skills by auditioning to be a part of these exclusive groups.

Community outreach is a core value at BTJ. We perform Act 2 of The Nutcracker with our advanced ballerinas through the holiday season, have partnered with Ballet Theatre of Maryland, and have created the BTJ Dancers Program working with the HHA.
